Recently, as a senior professional technical service agency of amfori BSCI and BEPI, Accenture received a notice from amfori BSCI and BEPI audit report upload fee adjustment. The amfori Board of Directors decided in April 2023 to increase the uploading fee per audit report to €170 (+ 9.68%) from January 2024.

On report upload fees: Effective January 1, 2024, all reviews or report uploads submitted on or after this date will be subject to the new fee standard.

Important notice | SMETA audit report will be automatically published within the deadline

SMETA audit report automatic release function

From 28 June, all audit reports submitted by the audit company on the new Sedex platform, if the supplier member does not manually publish the report, 14 days later, the audit report will be automatically published to the purchaser member;

SMETA audit reports submitted to the new platform before June 28, and more than 14 days, will be automatically released to buyer members on June 28.

Periodic audit function

No matter the SMETA audit issued by the supplier on the Sedex Advance platform or the new platform, the same AAC can initiate periodic audit on the new platform;

All unclosed nonconformities and observations will be carried forward to the periodic audit initiated on the new platform.

Supplier data on social and environmental issues is critical to supply chain transparency. The quality of SMETA audit reports has always been one of the priorities of Sedex's work, and the above changes will undoubtedly enhance the authenticity of SMETA audit reports to a certain extent, but also put higher requirements on suppliers. Completing the Sedex Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) before the formal SMETA audit can help suppliers prepare for the audit, understand their own shortcomings, and take timely corrective actions.
