SA8000 is "social responsibility standard", is the English abbreviation of SocialAccountability8000, is the world's first international standard of ethics. Its purpose is to ensure that suppliers supply products, are in line with the requirements of social responsibility standards. The SA8000 standard is applicable to companies of all sizes in any industry, anywhere in the world. Its basis and ISO9000 quality management system and ISO14000 environmental management system, are a set of international standards that can be audited by a third party certification body.
