FCCA factory audit

Factory Capability & Capacity Assessment, Factory Capability & Capacity Assessment, is a new factory audit project implemented by Walmart. Its purpose is to check whether the output and productivity of the factory meet the production capacity and quality requirements of Walmart. Its main contents include the following aspects: factory facilities and environment, machine calibration and maintenance, quality management system, incoming material control, process and production control, internal laboratory testing, final inspection.

Basic overview of FCCA factory inspection

FCCA audit process

FCCA factory inspection process includes five parts: initial meeting, document review, on-site audit, employee interview and audit summary meeting. The specific process is as follows:

1. Initial meeting: Introduce the purpose, schedule and operation of audit, list the required documents, introduce the details of on-site audit and employee interview, and answer the questions of factory representatives

2, on-site audit: the auditor on the site of raw materials warehouse, finished product warehouse, production process, machinery and equipment to carry out a series of inspections, to ensure that the above items are in line with the audit standards of the factory;

3, document audit: the auditor according to the requirements of factory inspection factory documents, including QC inspection records, production records, inspection standards, etc.; All documents are required to be kept for 3 years, and the most recent year's data is reviewed;

4. Staff interview: The list of staff interview personnel is extracted from the site and personnel information, mainly about QC related personnel;

5. Audit summary meeting: The auditor issues a provisional audit report to summarize the problems existing in the factory and the areas needing improvement. If necessary, follow-up audit may be required, depending on the severity of the problem.

FCCA result grading

Good Pass :80-100% and no zero on key points

Improvement measures are provided, and no score of zero is Acceptable for critical points

Based on the situation and results of the initial evaluation, it would be Unacceptable to decide whether follow-up evaluation is necessary. The factory should also make continuous improvement according to its actual situation and gradually reach a better factory inspection grade

FCCA factory inspection period

FCCA factory inspection is valid for 18 months. If the factory is currently frozen or has no orders for more than 18 months, orders must be accepted after passing the FCCA factory audit.
