SQP certification audit

SQP certification is a set of quality certification system developed by Intertek, the full name of which is Supplier Qualification Programme. SQP certification audit is divided into 8 parts, quality management system, continuous improvement and management commitment, risk assessment, facilities and site management, product testing, product control, process control, qualification and ability.

Basic overview of SQP authentication

SQP authentication level classification

SQP audit results are divided into four levels. General customers who pass 85 points or above can get the certificate, which is valid for one year. At present, DG and AUTOZONE adopt this project for quality inspection. The specific standards are different according to the requirements of each customer.

1, green (85-100 points), major parts meet the requirements.

2. Yellow (score 71-84), moderate risk problem section meets requirements, rectification report (CAP) must be submitted within 15 working days, and will be followed up 6 months later.

3, orange (51-70 points), low standards, generally 3 months after the follow-up audit.

4. Red (0-50 points), bad factory.

SQP authentication process

SQP certification process includes five parts: initial meeting, document review, on-site audit, employee interview and audit summary meeting. The specific process is as follows:

1. Initial meeting: Introduce the purpose, time arrangement and operation method of audit, list the required documents, introduce the specific details of on-site audit and employee interview, and answer the questions of factory representatives;

2, on-site audit: the auditor on the site of fire facilities, machinery and equipment maintenance, ventilation and lighting of the work area, environmental protection work and a series of inspections, to ensure that the above items are in line with the audit standards of the factory;

3. Audit of documents and materials: the auditor inspects the documents and materials of the factory according to the requirements of factory inspection, mainly including employee wage and hour records, employee information, and other production records; If all documents are required to be stored within the latest 12 months, the requirements must be met within the latest 3 months;

4. Employee interview: The list of employees interviewed is extracted from the site and personnel data, mainly favoritic to some younger and honest employees. Employee interview is conducted independently, and factory representatives are not allowed to intervene;

5. Audit summary meeting: The auditor issues a provisional audit report to summarize the problems existing in the factory and the areas needing improvement. If necessary, follow-up audit may be required, depending on the severity of the problem.
