EcoVadis comes from France, Its predecessor was a system platform built by TFS-CI (" Together for Sustainable Development "- Chemical Alliance), UN Global Compact (UN Global Compact), IPE Center for Public and Environmental Studies and other ngos, which was specially applied to the downstream international supply chain management organizations. It combines all organizational governance projects except the quality of a company's operations, and provides comprehensive evaluation by means of online submission according to the size and industry affiliation of the company, aiming to improve the environmental and social performance of the company by leveraging the impact of the global supply chain.
EcoVadis provides a collaborative platform for customers and suppliers (the EcoVadis Platform website) to help companies audit the environmental and social performance of their suppliers around the world. EcoVadis' trusted scoring methodology and simple monitoring tools help customers manage potential risks and drive environmental innovation in their global supply chain management.
ECOVADIS is an evaluation platform for the harmonious development of buyers and suppliers to jointly complete the sustainable development of social responsibility. It is rated in the form of score cards. This level belongs to the rating of ECOVADIS, and each brand or customer has different requirements.
ECOVADIS factory inspection and the previous conventional social responsibility factory inspection is different, conventional human rights factory inspection must have a third party audit agency to the factory for on-site audit and evaluation. ecovadis, on the other hand, only needs to fill out a questionnaire and submit information on the registration platform. Fill out an online questionnaire appropriate to your company's business activities, size and country and upload all required supporting documents. It may take several hours or even days to complete the online dynamic questionnaire and upload the required documents. This depends on the size of your company and the maturity level of your CSR performance, as well as whether you have all the information (including documentation) required for the audit.
step3. Analyze
The CSR experts at EcoVadis will analyze your answers to the questionnaire, your uploaded supporting documents and other evidence of your CSR policies. EcoVadis' audit methods are based on international standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), ISO 26000 and the Global Compact.

EcoVadis audit analysis results are combined with a scorecard that you can view online on your EcoVadis platform.
